Known to our clients as Jim, the Owner and President of Manship Builders, Inc. takes a personal stake in each project. In addition to providing contracting estimates and supervising construction, subcontractors and staff, Jim prepares and administers contracts, keeps on top of billings, manages the office and operates equipment to get the job done. His experience includes 6 years as Sole Proprietor of R.J. Manship Construction and 3 years with Lincor Construction Services of Phoenix, Arizona as Vice President of Construction Services as well as his work as Owner and President of Manship Builders since 1989. Jim's educational background is grounded in Arizona. Jim attended Arizona State University for Construction Engineering and the University of Arizona college of Agriculture. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree. He and his wife live in the Cave Creek/Carefree area with their three children.


Mark is the Secretary/Treasurer for Manship Builders and is closely involved in our commercial projects as well as residential projects. Mark is involved in all phases of the job from estimating to final punch lists, preparing and administering subcontracts, scheduling subcontractors and material suppliers, supervises work on site, and prepares billings. His experience includes 18 years as a Superintendent and Project Manager for R.J. Manship Construction and Manship Builders, 3 years as a Project Manager with Lincor Construction Services, and 3 years as a Project Manager and estimator for Target General Contractors. Mark attended Arizona State University and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, and a Bachelor or Arts degree in Education. He and his wife live in Tempe with their three youngest children.


Holly is the Office Manager and Accountant for Manship Builders. She is responsible for sending out pay requests to the clients as well as accounts receivable and payables. Holly is available to answer any questions our clients might have regarding their pay requests, course of construction or liability insurance. Holly’s educational background is in accounting; she graduated from Richland Community College in Decatur Illinois with AAS in accounting. Holly has been in construction since 1999 and working at Manship Builders since 2001. She currently lives in the Cave Creek/Carefree area.


Dave is a Project Manager and General Superintendent for Manship Builders. He is involved in all aspects of the job from scheduling subcontractors, verifying work is being done per plans and specifications as well as tracking the job to insure that it is staying within budget. Dave has an Associates of Art’s degree in Pre Engineering from Bismarck State College and attended a Construction Management and Engineering program at North Dakota State University. Before moving to Arizona in 1994, Dave owned and operated his own framing company. Since then, Dave has served as a superintendent of luxury custom homes in the Desert Mountain, North Scottsdale area. Dave and his wife live in Anthem with their two children.


Pat is a Superintendent for Manship Builders. He is responsible for scheduling subcontractors, verifying work is being done per plans and specifications calls inspections meets with inspectors, performs walkthroughs with the subcontractors and clients and completes all punch list items. Pat answers any questions the client might have and makes changes as necessary or desired. Pat started his construction experience in 1979. He also went to trade school for tile setting and is proficient in Auto Cad. He and his wife live in the Cave Creek/Carefree area with their five daughters.


Scott is a Superintendent for Manship Builders. He is responsible for scheduling subcontractors, verifying work is being done per plans and specifications calls inspections meets with inspectors, performs walkthroughs with the subcontractors and clients and completes all punch list items. Scott answers any questions the client might have and makes changes as necessary or desired. Scott started his construction experience in 1978 and has worked strictly on upscale luxury homes. He also went to MATC in Wisconsin for Architecture. He and his wife live in the Cave Creek/Carefree area.


Gerardo is our Painting and Customer Service Foreman. He oversees all finish aspects, painting and staining, appliance installation, oversees completion of punch list items, hangs paintings etc. to assist clients with move in and any warranty items after completion of the home. He currently lives in Phoenix with his wife and their three children.


Gayle Horn is a Project Coordinator at Manship Builders, Inc., and works directly with the homeowner, designer, superintendent, subcontractors and suppliers coordinating the finishes and maintaining schedules associated with building a custom home. Gayle is responsible for getting the information from the subcontractors to the field, preparing change orders, issuing contracts and reviewing the pay applications with the accounting team. She also coordinates the customer service work related to completion and delivery of our custom homes; insuring complete attention to detail. Gayle started her experience in development and construction in 1986 and since 2001 has been a project coordinator for high-end custom homes. She lives in Cave Creek with her husband and two sons.


Elizabeth (Beth) is a Project Coordinator at Manship Builders, Inc. and works with the homeowners, designers, superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers to coordinate all finishes, and maintain all schedules associated with building a custom home. Beth is also responsible for getting all information from subcontractors to the field, preparing change orders, issuing contracts, and working with pay applications. Beth also plays a part in coordinating the customer service finish work, ensuring every detail is complete when the home is delivered to the homeowners. Beth grew up in a family-owned construction company, and was involved in construction from a young age. She graduated from ASU in 2002 where she received a Bachelors degree in business management. Beth has worked in the home building industry since 2002, and in high-end custom homes since 2003. She lives in Anthem with her husband and their young daughter.
